  캐롤 키드 (Carol Kidd) 1945.10.19.(영국)
 
Carol Kidd는 1945년 Scotland의 Glasgow에서 태어났다. 
그녀는 세계의 대중에게 알려진 지 얼마 되지 않았지만 
사실 그녀의 나이 15살 때인 60년대 초반부터 로컬 재즈 밴드에서 
노래했을 정도로 오랜 시절 활동해 온 뮤지션이다. 
로컬 재즈 밴드에서 2년간 싱어로 활동하던 그녀는 
어린 나이에 트럼본 연주자와 결혼하고 가정을 꾸리게 된다. 
사실 당대 어느 싱어와 비교해도 쳐질 것이 없는 그녀이지만 
이 시기부터 그녀의 보컬은 그 빛을 잃고 지역 밴드의 보컬로서 
만족하는 아쉬운 시절들을 보내게 된다.
